HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE
Once you're booked on to one of our activity sessions you are in charge of getting to the venue. If you book a full days activity, in which you have opted for two different activities, you will require transport to get between each of the different venues. All Parking charges will need to be paid for by you.
Adventure Outside will not be held responsible for any difficulties/lateness as a result of traffic or parking difficulties.
IS ALL EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED?
Yes. Put simply, any specialist equipment required for your chosen activities will be provided at no extra charge.

Adventure Outside will provide a 'packing list' detailing what clothing is needed for each of your activities such as warm layers, boots an waterpoofs, which must be supplied by you.
IF THE WEATHER IS BAD WILL THE ACTIVITY GO AHEAD?
If we packed up every time it rained in the Lake District we wouldn't get out much!
If the weather is poor, or unsafe for the activity you have booked, we will always offer you an alternative activity that is more appropriate to the conditions. If you opt not to take part due to the weather then Adventure Outside will offer no refund for this.
If the weather conditions make it impossible to offer a safe alternative then you will be issued with a full refund or the opportunity to rebook to a different date.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
If you have very young or old members of your party please read the activity descriptions carefully before booking. It is highly recommended that you contact us for advice first. We pride ourselves on being able to cater to almost anyone and will do everything we can to make sure we turn no one away. Some activities are more suitable to the very young than others and we can advise accordingly.
HOW DO WE BOOK?
If booking a half day or SUP session then click on the booking tab on the relevant activity page.

If booking for a full day of mixed activity, please book through the 'Full Day - Mixed activity' option. We will then get in touch to discuss which activities you would like to take part in.

If booking for more people than listed within the price of the session. Please book as usual, you will then be prompted to pay the excess amount upon receipt of your joining instructions.

WILL I GET WET CANOEING?
Possibly...

If you absolutely, 100%, unequivocally do not want to get wet then I suggest that you request a rafted canoe session.
Otherwise, we will give you all the appropriate training and information to give you the best chance that you will stay in your boat. However, accidents happen and sometimes people wind up seeing the lake a little closer than they would have wished. Rest assured if this happens its a simple case of scooping you up and putting you back in your boat while we all have a good laugh about it.
CAN KIDS GO ALONE?
Young people (under 18) need to have a parent, carer or responsible adult with them to take part in the activities.
IS IT SAFE?
Very!
All Adventurous activity has some element of risk to it, however our job is to keep things as safe as possible. We have an incredible safety record and do everything possible to keep it that way.

a) If you cancel within 24 hours of booking, but not less than 4 weeks from the date of your activity, a full refund will be issued. If you cancel withing 24 hours of booking, but less than 4 weeks from your chosen activity date no refund will be issued.
